Subfloor prep is two-thirds of the job. Self-leveling, moisture testing, and a flat tolerance better than spec — before the finish goes down.
Reco flooring runs through one project manager and our in-house finishing crew, on a locked schedule with weekly RFI cycles. The methods below are how we earn the standard — not the upgrade.
Subfloor preparation
Self-leveling pour to 1/8" in 10'. Moisture testing to ASTM F2170. Documented before finish material lands.
Polished concrete
Diamond-grind 200 to 3000 grit, densified and sealed. Mock-up panel for sheen approval.
Hardwood acclimation
Site-conditioned for 7+ days at occupancy temp/humidity before install.
